Says you? You see clients jumping over their cold cup of coffee to give real names and leave deposits?
If Doug Ford wins he's already said he's ripping away the sex curriculum and this is to appease his base which are anti-sex and anti prostitution. Under a Doug Ford regime, gentlemen will have to be very careful going forward.

MM - don't lump us all together or I will say all men who don't want to give screening info are rapists. Retired or not, that would still include you.
Not all of us ask for deposits. Not all ask for real names and for those of us who do, yes, clients are giving it. Maybe not jumping over cold coffee, but then again no man is jumping over cold coffee for a BP chick either.
Please understand that every time guys make off the cuff comments or counterpoint our discussions of safety with "well guys get scammed from girls all the time", all you are doing is undermining what is very real and very needed for us. May as well say - "you are fucking hookers and I don't care about you."
This is why we screen -
and before all guys get bent out of shape because she posted his phone number, she did follow up with the police.
This is the type of guy you all protect every time you dismiss our right and our need for screening.
PS - Wise Guy, I am still waiting for a reply. However I am starting to believe you just like to spew stuff, without any substance. Another who says they want discussion but don't actually add anything to the discussion. Hmmmmmm

Of course some do but majority do not Jessica. I am not sure what your practice is and please know I never single anyone in particular out. I state my opinion as we all do and I would never fault you or any lass who runs their business their way. As a consumer if I'm looking for a service I'll seek out who I feel most fits my wants and that time maybe coming sooner than expected. I'm getting an itch which may need to be scratched.:biggrin2:

Please read it to understand and why I take issue with all of these countpoints, that are not even truly relevant to the actual discussion.
This is not an anoynmous industry BTW - it is one of discretion. There is a difference. I think more men need to remember that.
And I am sorry but I am not talking politics. That is not what this about. We can't rely on anyone in government, can barely rely on LE assistance, clearly can't rely on our fellow hobbyist in the community for our safety so it is up to us. And anything we comeup with is too much of a "pain in the ass" for others
Care to chime in on what we should do? How should we keep safe? What should the girl above have done to make sure she wasn't completely raped or killed? Besides fight the guy off like she did. Please do tell.

I’m surprised this is still going on. Seems like beating a dead horse. Yeah, I know that’s not PC anymore.
i read the whole twitter thread about the girl recently assaulted. Glad they caught him, it said he’s got priors, maybe he’ll go away for a long time. He was screened, she had the info to help LE find him. (although, it looked like an app number to me)
so, I thought the screening issue was solved;
SP’s will screen and if you don’t pass screening you don’t see them. If you don’t pass screening, don’t argue and don’t waste the Lady’s time.
Ladys will block scammers and they’ll come up with new names and ID’s the Lady’s will see thru and get blocked again.
If you don’t want to be screened, don’t try to see SP’s that screen.
I’ve passed screening a number of times and so far, haven’t been outed. I have found out about Lady’s talking amoungst themselves about me. I can only hope it was well intentioned.
I had one lady blacklist me after screening, and she called out my reference on twitter! I walked away at the door and she got in a huff. It was her bad attitude and rudeness that pissed me off while getting directions to her door.
Fortunately, a couple Lady’s who know me well stood up for me.

It is important to realize that screening still doesn't guarantee our safety, only improves the odds of it.
It should also be noted that situations either evolve or devolve over time. Dynamics can change (e.g. a client becomes overly infatuated). Sometimes boundaries get crossed resulting in the termination of the client SP relationship.
It's only when things don't go a person's desired way that we find out who they truly are. It's easy to be nice when you're getting what you want, but how do you behave when you're not? That is the true test of a person's character!

Is not this an issue in itself? She had your real information and blacklisted you for something really that wasn't your fault. TFZL1 had the backing of other ladies because you are a prolific hobbyist but what about the gentleman who maybe sees 6 ladies a year and doesn't have that benefit but now is blacklisted or worse blackmailed?

Analme, the very fact that TFZL1 is a prolific hobbyist increases the odds that he'll eventually have a bad experience. If you only see 6 ladies a year and do your homework you most likely won't have any issues. When you see 50 per year, some of those including TOFFTs, it's way more likely you'll have an undesirable encounter or two within the year.
Remember when Bill C-36 was coming into effect? There were threads ad nauseam about the upcoming prolific arrests that were going to happen. The only problem is, like with y2k, nothing actually took place. Mass media created a false sense of alarm. In truth, most of the things we worry about never actualize or happen.
All these threads remind me of Chicken Little (a.k.a. Henny Penny). Sometimes if you keep looking for something or expecting it, you find it or it finds you. Also known as a self fulfilling prophesy. Try to relax everyone, the sky is not falling!

She didn’t have my real name, only my twitter/forum handle, phone number and a reference.
But I took issue with her calling me out in public on twitter.
I was pissed that she couldn’t give directions for parking or finding her apt. And she got snarky about it.
When she opened the door, she was still rude, so I have her the tea I brought and left.
I don’t even know if she is still in the business since I blocked her.

I don’t blame ladies for taking the measure to do legal name screening. It’s dangerous job, physical/sexual assault the potential of losing your life are pretty big conequences.
You’re fortunate most of your SP’s down east are very professional. You’ll miss out on a lot of great ladies if you’re not willing to do legal name screening in your region.
Don’t mix your legal name with a review board handle or online persona. This is the one mistake that’ll usually cause you grief.
Be yourself, forget about the review board member and go have a good time. Don’t do legal name screening with SP’s who aren’t professional. Avoid childish, drama junkies.
Anyone doing legal name screening should be functioning at the highest level of professionalism.
