Made with Love

Domestic Violence.

Yup

And I am but the doorman
.

My ex was an abusive alcoholic. I haven't seen him for over 25 years but I still hear about him from my son sometimes, although neither of our kids wants anything to do with him anymore.

I don't feel anger towards him anymore, but I still wouldn't want to see him or talk to him ever again.

That's a nasty picture isn't it. Monsters live among us. It's always the same MO too, isolate then intimidate and then you get the control. It leaves the woman scarred for life too and unable to have any normal relationships. If..a decent male comes along and is attracted to the woman as soon as it gets anything near serious the female will play the game of push and pull. She'll freak out at being too close to him, push him away. When he goes to leave she'll pull him back in because she knows he's giving up. In the end he will just give up and walk away angry and hurt. So the woman ends up with Mr Manipulator.

One of the reasons some women become sex workers, is because they can't handle being in normal relationships with people.

One of the reasons men see SP's is because they don't know how to have normal relationships.

One of the reasons SP's and clients hurt each other so much is because so many of us are broken people.

I would agree that many people are "broken". Truth is I'm often shocked at how many people are broken inside. I don't see me as broken though I believe I suffered a bit of PTSD at one time from work (but it was light). I try to stay positive but I admit, at times it's really difficult. I'm dreaming of living on an island just off Vancouver. I do attribute my exposure to the "nasties" of this world as making me less broken though.

I didn't want to hijack Rebecca's thread, so quoted you from over there:

Ive actually been meaning to write something out about security for sex workers and pooners. I just am always busy and my life has been in disarray lately (car accident, cancer in family, etc). I got great news yesterday to get back on track so maybe I'll set something up. I'd make something the mods could pin to the top.

:good:

Those bits of great news make up for lot of dark moments, don't they.

I discovered something kinda cool the other day.

Warl0ck is my cyber-grandpa, lol. :biggrin2:

He educated some of the people who eventually educated me about online safety and security, and now we teach each other what we're learning in real time, so it's like finding a long lost cyber relative.

guilty as charged. Funny part is Rebecca has actually met me (not for a session) and probably a half dozen SP's have talked to me extensively ;-).
