true but I did own a gremlin, raised its ass, 5 spoke chrome mags, all of 90 horsepower and the worst possible car in the snow.

The fact that it topped out at about 70 miles an hour and took 30 seconds to get there is probably why I survived my teen years.

3girls didnt know it wasnt fast(the tappet noise sounded like a racing cam i was told lol) as some guys in town had dropped big 8s into theirs for the 1/4 miles on rubber road.
It had a bench seat in the front that was just long enough:666:

even with a straight six I could smoke the tires (a bit ) its weight was all on the front wheels lol

aaaahhhhhh sunny summer days, cutie girlfriends in tube tops and short short..that swallow..foreigner/ trooper/supertramp on the radio or cassette....parking by the quarry.....50 cent a gallon gas....life was goooood:great:
Oh and It was a damn sight better than my friends shit brown in line 6 volare wagon

My girl friend had a baby blue pinto so that was way worse,

Hey, gremlins weren't bad once you tubbed out the back and put a chevy small block 327 in em...

You think you had it bad? My first car was a blue 1970 dodge dart with the 225 slant six......It burned so much oil I'd pull into a gas station and say "check the gas, fill it with oil".....

The throttle cable had a kink or ice or something in it because it would stick in really cold weather. It wasn't uncommon during a heavy snow fall to see me stopped at a light with one back wheel spinning in the snow lol......

Then there was my banana yellow dogde omni O24 with the plaid interior......it even had factory yellow rims!!!!

Well the main GF during that time was about 5 5 and maybe 100 lbs, and for me there have been a lot of double whoopers since then lol. Zero chance of making it work today :frown:

Braced the knees on the drivers door, feet in the air and away we go lol.arty:
Had no choice the seats didnt recline back them (puritan car designers in north america)
