That being said, I was out for a long bicycle ride today with no problems. My main complaint is all the salt used just for the little dusting of snow we received.

Yep, from about 210ish to 250ish. I might be off by a few lbs., but not many.

Prefer the cold weather to the hot humid weather. You can always add layers to warm up. You can't go the other way during summer. Well you can to a point.

But seriously, you get used to it. Last friday I spent 9 hours out in -14 so when I went to the city on Christmas and it was +2, I was walking around in shirtsleeves. Think about it: that's 16 degrees difference...it was sort of like going from 0 to 17 C......

The only real issue is my boots are steel toed safety and when that steel gets cold, it STAYS fricken cold.......

Since I have already sold you a dick muff I thought I would now sell you something for your toes you big whiner, suck it up!! You don't see me complaining as I sit here in my heated lazy boy recliner occasionally glancing over at my toasty gas fire place burning. Piece of cake I tell you!

I've got a couple of packs of those, kept them on hand JIC last friday but as long as I was moving, the toes were ok.

The thing is, there was/is no warm(ish) place to undo the boots, peel back the long johns and jeans to put those suckers in......lol.....

It will be better next week: we framed and sheathed the first floor/basement and there are 8 salamanders blasting away to keep the foundation and footings warm so we'll have a place to warm up at break and lunch.....

I razzed the site boss the other day saying: oh sure, keep the house toasty and warm but fuck the guys building it lol......
