Why Girl Guide instead of Girl Scout?

Since I was a girl guide and a brownie way back when OMG. mom has my old uniforms in storage.

Girl Guide is Canada's name for girl scouts. There is a chapter of girl guides/girl scouts around the world. My mom was one in Jamaica. I stopped at patfinders.
