Made with Love
Christmas has become a celebration of families getting together more so than Christ being born. Employees still need the protection of the state or union;/Waving:// to be allowed to spend family time with loved ones. If working holidays were strictly on a volunteer basis I wouldn't have an issue with it but it's not, workers get coerced into working, especially in the retail industry.

that may be true, but really, then it should be called something else no? I mean, that's kind of like hannukah becoming beer and pretzel day instead of a religious ceremony......

But more to the point, it's become more of a time to spend like maniacs than getting together with family.....

I guess it kind of irks me, namely because of the way my brother reacts to it, that all year long he has zilch to do with church or religion of any sort yet all of a sudden christmas becomes SO important to him.....

The way you word your question is completely wrong in my opinion. To ask if "rational" people agree is to pre-insult those who do not by setting them up as irrational people. Maybe if you could post without trolling attempts to insult and trap the people you are posting with, you may find that you receive more replies. However I suspect that you enjoy trolling so I doubt you will heed my advice.

I wouldn't worry too much about it, I bet he thinks we're all a bunch of irrational boobs anyways....I work with a couple of "born agains" and you can just tell by the look on their faces and things they say that us heathens are somehow beneath them.....we were talking about the end of the mayan calendar this week at break and one said "I know where I'll be, I don't know about you all".......

I did a born again woman, it was great being beneath her, she had 36 DD's natural. Actually, it was great beneath, open top, behind, beside and inside!:-Cool/"

It's Christmas, everyone has to eat!:wink2:

BTW, you going to see your daughter or cooking a big spread at home?

I hope to be eating a chick with her legs spread, does that count? lol.....

I just realized the hypocracy of baz (and the born agains I work with) he considers people irrational who don't think like him yet he's the one who has devoted his life to an imaginary friend......

If we were in the UK, you would have said a "eating a bird" which is the right foul to eat at Christmas! In fact, you would be providing the stuffing for that bird you would be eating! Hmmmmmm

DING DING DING and TBoy gets the first FL {Femme-Like} on HUBGFE. Congrats. This is big. Like Mayan Calander.... oh wait that flopped.

Never mind - here is the thumbs up.

I can always count on Ms. FemmeFatale to stir the pot and throw stones. I was simply stating it maybe a prudent idea to place your hobby dollars towards helping others during the season of giving. I wasn't looking down on anyone or trying to imply it would be irrational to not do so, perhaps a bit selfish yes but not irrational.

I've donated $1000's this year towards several worthy causes and I do it because it's the right thing to do. Tboy, this "chick" I'm curious and I hope you don't mind me asking. Will she be a pay for play type of lady or have you met someone special in your life, I am hoping you have?

not too Christian of ya to brag

you can go now and suffer the pains of hell remembering that Pride (one of the 7 deadly sins) brought it upon you

I'm not bragging, I'm simply stating a fact as it pertains to this thread. I am sure I will not be suffering anyone's wrath except possibly some members here which too me now has become the norm. I will take this opportunity to thank Hof, he's been much more civil as of late and it has not gone unnoticed.

Charity is done quietly and requires no announcement.

What you did was brag and imply you are better than others.
You suffer from pride and self-importance.

You need to take a step back and examine your motives for being here. Is it to help others find a different path or is it to fill yourself with false pride?

either way you bring judgement and that is not what Christ teaches

I agree with you except in this case it was said in the context of this thread. My motives are pure, I'm here to learn and at times I may give a suggestion or two. No one here has a gun to anyone's head which forces a member to follow my suggestion. You are a man of free will and you can do as you please although from what I've seen from you, you do not partake in the hobby in its true sense. You do not seem to pay for play but only take advantage of the back and forth banter this forum allows for you to do, which there's absolutely nothing wrong with this form of entertainment.

Actually, you married guys, pay for a lifetime! The vast majority of that being hard time.

you seem to think that one may deem their morals are superior to those of others.

Hof, I agree that courtship and then marriage is not cheap. It is a worthwhile investment when one finds their soul mate and at the same time I will say it can be a financial boondoggle when a marriage goes wrong.

No, not superior that's the wrong word. I would say more focused on the family than on one's own self. Pay for play is strictly to appease one's own primal sexual desires, which to be honest I find a bit on the selfish side.
