Also, I did not throw a stone at all Sir. I simply made a suggestion that you word your posts better. Clearly based on your reply, that advice is even more important.

That would also of course mean that you were indeed bragging because you never made mention of donating or anything of the sort in your OP, therefore it did not pertain to this thread.

I am however I am very sorry if pointing out your failures here is taken in a negative light. Just as you are trying to enlighten people, so am I.

My mention of giving to charities was not to boast or brag but merely as a matter of fact, which some have picked up on that unfortunately and of no surprise you did not. Doesn't really matter what religious club you belong to, your belief system is based on a fairy tale 2000 yrs old. You believe in the bible, which is no difference really than believing in last sunday's edition of the toronto sun. It is a story written and rewritten by people thousands of years ago to get people to, well, believe in an idea they had.

Tell me: if someone walked up to you tomorrow, and said his cat talks to him, and that the telephone pole on the corner is a sign of a higher being, and that you MUST cut off your arm else you'll die by thursday, would you say "heck yeah, gimme a saw"? I think not. I think you'd call the authorities and have him locked up. Well, your belief system is based on the exact same thing........

I was simply stating it maybe a prudent idea to place your hobby dollars towards helping others during the season of giving. I wasn't looking down on anyone or trying to imply it would be irrational to not do so, perhaps a bit selfish yes but not irrational.

I've donated $1000's this year towards several worthy causes and I do it because it's the right thing to do. Tboy, this "chick" I'm curious and I hope you don't mind me asking. Will she be a pay for play type of lady or have you met someone special in your life, I am hoping you have?

Hey baz what is your problem, what makes you think the working ladies don't need the dollars to help their families?

If you wanna donate to a worthy cause - give it to an SP...stop giving your money to rich ppl. So what if it's pay for play, you gotta realize by now these guys will forever pay for it.

There was one site where the direct translation meant that a man should not lie with another man in a woman's bed......so, in their own bed, that's fine.....But you could interpret that as being a man should not commit adultery with another man while he's married to a woman (hence a "woman's bed").

But who gives a shit....if two people find each other and love each other, who cares what race creed sexual orientation or age they are....(well, a 50 yr old and a 13 yr old is wrong on many levels)

That is exactly what I believe. As for the age differences, I think people in their 20's should just have fun, travel, start their bucket list and practise safe sex with many. When settling down at 30 or older, the age comparison isn't worth evaluating anymore, JMO.

People who fall in love can also fall out of love, it happens everyday!

Madman, Ida doesn't want anything to do with the board after the Linda fiasco. She was dumbfound beyond belief when Linda took to this site and was actually seriously entertaining the thought of meeting several of the men here. I can now say Peace and Guido were at the top of the list until I pointed out Guido was married based on his posts. Thankfully she has now met a fine gentleman, a co-worker of mine and she agreed it wasn't fair to him for her to be on this board and hopefully they live happily ever after. The odd time Ida has looked over my shoulder as I go through the different threads and becomes very angry when she sees unflattering comments about her. That is when you see her posting in a fury and that is why I now try to avoid her looking over my shoulder. You can now imagine what her thoughts were on the party but surprisingly she was ok with me attending the gala.

CycleGuy and Tboy, yes I am a Christian and based on your posts I am to assume you are both atheists which is fine, you are entitled to believe or not believe in whatever you like. Although life must be hard when you start to ponder your mortality. It must be hard to imagine there to be nothing at all after death. At least Christians find some comfort in believing in life after death you must agree.
