Escape you're obviously a well grounded person and have a more tolerant nature and an ability to look at things from varied perspectives. Not all are capable of this.
Although I agree with your point, I think, often serious and sad threads are the ones that should be respected the most, and not interjected with silliness, as that could undermine their point. But that's just how I see it and
that's how I see most hijacking, to me it shows that you lack respect for the op and the subject that person has raised. Which actually only reflects poorly on the hijacker not the op, but again, that's my black and white point of view
