FBI: Ohio bank suspect lowers hood when told
COLUMBUS, Ohio — The FBI says an Ohio bank robbery suspect left authorities with good surveillance photos because he lowered his hood when an employee told him to. FBI Special Agent Harry Trombitas says the man in his mid-20s entered a Columbus PNC Bank on Wednesday with his dark hood up, covering most of his face.
Trombitas says in a statement that the bank has a "no hats, no hoods" policy, so a bank employee told the man to pull his hood down, and he complied.
The FBI says when the suspect got to the counter, he handed the teller a note saying he had a gun and to give him money or he would shoot. He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. Columbus police haven't announced an arrest.

A heated argument between a mother and her 19-year-old daughter in a Wal-Mart parking lot in Ohio ended with the younger woman being run over by a car, police say.
Emily Touma, 19, and her mother Michelle, 41, were arguing in an SUV last week when, according to surveillance footage, the girl got out of the car and smacked the vehicle on the hood. That's when the mom appeared to accelerate forward and hit the teen with the side of the SUV, knocking her down and running over her foot.
Police told Toledo ABC TV station the mother was trying to drive close enough to her daughter to hit her in the face with her hand, but got too close. The daughter was treated at hospital and released.
The mother has been charged with aggravated vehicular assault and domestic violence.

An Alberta woman who police say is under a court order not to consume alcohol allegedly ordered alcohol and other items from a delivery service and gave the deliveryman an IOU instead of money.
Police in Camrose say a 47-year-old woman placed her order Tuesday night.
When the deliveryman arrived, the woman took her items inside and closed the door, police said. After the deliveryman knocked several times, the woman returned and handed him a written note that said she'd pay later, police said.
The driver went to the police station to report it and during their investigation, officers discovered the woman is under a court order to not possess, purchase or consume alcohol.
