A Delaware pediatrician and his wife have been arrested after their 11-year-old daughter accused her father of “wa****oarding” her, state police say.

The girl told police that her father, Dr. Melvin Morse, 58, would hold her under a faucet and force water up her nose, according to a CNN report.
Pauline Morse, 40, the girl’s mother, did nothing to stop the abuse, which happened at least four times over a two-year period, police said.

The doctor is the author of a book about near-death experiences in children and was interviewed about the subject by CNN’s Larry King.
In July Morse was accused of dragging his daughter by the ankle across a gravel driveway and spanking her at the family home in Georgetown. The girl was interviewed after her father was arrested at that time, and it was then that she reported the punishment her father called “wa****oarding,” police said.

Morse and his wife were arrested on Aug. 7 and charged with reckless endangerment, conspiracy and endangering the welfare of a child, police said.
The doctor remains in custody, but his wife has been released on bail. The 11-year-old and her five-year-old sister are being looked after by family services, while their parents have been ordered to have no contact with them.

The Delaware News Journal reported that in court documents the girl said her father told her “she could go five minutes without brain damage” during the wa****oarding punishment.
The girl said her father would "sometimes look away while he did it and (redacted) would become afraid that he would lose track of time and she would die," according to the documents.

Not the thieves but the tech guys who let them steal the cash.

https://rt.com/news/theft-atm-france-fork-993/

French police are searching for an organized crime ring that has stolen more than 1,000,000 Euros in cash from ATM machines, using only a fork.Investigators were shocked by the simplicity and ingenuity of the countrywide rash of ATM heists:

The gang managed to make the thefts by jamming a fork into the machines' cash dispensers, exploiting a previously unknown security flaw.
The mass robberies were discovered when dozens of fake ATM withdrawals, mainly from Caisse d'Epargne machines, were caught on camera.

The Caisse d'Epargne group, which includes the Natixis bank, filed a case with the police in early August after noticing balance discrepancies in many of their ATMs. After examining CCTV footage from the machines, French law enforcement concluded that the gang used prepaid bank cards to conduct the thefts.

“After making one transaction with their bank cards they insert a small fork with the teeth bent back into the cash distributor,” police said to Le Parisien. “Then the thieves attempt a much bigger second withdrawal, which they cancel before the transaction is finish. By then the cash is prepared in the distributor, which they pull out with the help of the fork.”

French police have made four arrests in connection with the thefts, all of whom are thought to be Romanian nationals. Police are searching for another dozen gang members believed to be involved in the crimes.
The bandits are believed to have begun operating in Belgium at the start of the summer. The banks are now scrambling to develop methods to enhance ATM security.

Some losers just can't help themselves.....

https://www.thestar.com/news/gta/ci...ly-appeals-again-to-omb-to-save-home-addition

"The Tsengs built the two-storey, $80,000 addition without permits in 2006. Their attempts to get it retroactively legalized have been dismissed by the city’s committee of adjustment, the OMB, and the courts. Shih Tseng maintains the family did not know in 2006 that permits were necessary. Neighbourhood opponents are dubious, noting that daughter Pauline Tseng is a lawyer and that Shih Tseng himself is a retired realtor......
If the OMB denies this appeal, the Tsengs can then ask the courts to hear a final appeal. Shih Tseng said they have also made a plea to the United Nations Human Rights Committee. "

As they say if you want to throw stones, just maybe you should be looking at yourself first
and try to better yourself. Because throwing around insults is not very adult behavior.
It sad that you like to belittle people even people who are not even on here and can not defend
themselves......As for throwing around who you feel is stupid well, you really think you are qualified
