I do a lazy lasagna...........Today I used left over meatballs as the meat, ricotta, garlic penne pasta, spices and provolone. Mixed with the sauce and baked for 40 minutes.

Still time consuming to make but I hate messing with lasagna noodles.

I like to make them fresh then you do not have to boil them

Fresh noodles! I'm impressed, Papa. I just use the No Boil ones from the grocery store.

You don't have to boil them if you make sure your sauce has lots of liquid, but fresh is definitely best. I love spinach in my lasagna.
