If by work you mean reading and screwing off......................then yes.

I work really hard for a couple of hours in the middle of the day to get about 8 hours of work done...then I screw around the rest of the time. They're getting their money's worth as far as all are concerned.

That sounds like my typical office work day when I had office jobs. I'm most productive first thing in the morning, then spend the rest of the day filling in time.

I had one factory job with 10 hour shifts and only about 2-3 hours worth of work to be done. Used to drive me nuts!
