Happy Meal Toy Inventor. Parents will keep buying that crap for their kids no matter how broke they get, as long as there is a toy to shut the lil' bastard up for at least 10mins.

Computer programmer.

My parents cautioned me when I was 12 years old that programming jobs would get outsourced to india...here I am at 44 years old and the programming job market in the US is better than ever. Programming is half communication and understanding requirements; you can't put an ocean and language barrier between teams and expect good results.
