One night stands and casual sex

So this is always something that I've wondered about cause I've never experienced it. How do one night stands work when it comes to the sex? I'm big on hygiene and I wouldn't be comfortable with a near stranger if I or she were not clean.

So, let's say you pick up a hot girl in a bar or club and things go well. And you go back to your place or hers or a hotel. Do you say " let's freshen up" and grab quick showers? Unless one of you is a pro, or if you're both comfortable with each other, a SF2 can't be all that much fun can it?

Or do you just forgo oral sex? And after a night of partying, bad breath is a sure factor. Sure we might be too drunk to care, but does it factor in at all?

I wasn't very active in my younger years. I sometimes feel like I missed out, but at the same time have had this hobby to more than make up for it. Anyway, chime in everybody! I'd love perspectives from both men and ladies.

I think most people (at least in my age group that I know of) shower right before going out somewhere. I think intoxication plays a big role and the fact that a casual hookup is more heat of the moment and less about showering, shaving, deodorant etc etc right before the appt.

Although if I was going to hook up with someone I wouldn't be offended if they wanted to shower, I'm kind of a shower freak myself even when not working. I just like the clean feeling.

I don't think I've had a one night stand since I was in my early 20's, but I don't ever remember anyone worrying about taking a shower. I do remember not wanting to kiss anyone the next morning when they woke up with hangover breath. Escorts and the men who see them are probably the cleanest, most hygienic lovers on the planet.

From what I can remember it was just about ripping each others clothes off then doing what came naturally. But if you read some reviews, when hygiene is an issue with some ladies, apparently the men still forge ahead. Which always shocks me, because if a man I was intimate with had odors, or other hygienic issues it would be over....

It would not be a deal breaker if she had some hygiene issues, I would forge ahead. But when you finally get to that point and you've got her back up against the wall, are you really thinking of excusing yourself and saying "I'll be right back"?

I've always been a clean freak and when I sense there will be some play after a night of the chase, I will excuse myself to the bathroom before leaving a venue and have a quick clean up. But that's just me.

I think the hobby has either spoiled me or raised my expectations when it comes to hygiene. The last MPA I saw had horrible hygiene and it spoiled the mood somewhat. That last session was basically the last straw me for and I haven't been in a spa since...and have no interest in the near future.

To me, sex is supposed to start off clean and end dirty. My session yesterday was exactly like that. Lol, the blanket on the bed was literally soaked!

I had a ton of one night stands and was very sexually active when I was younger (17-23), but I didn't realize how totally uneducated I was about sex until I started reading the boards in my 40's. I had read 'The Joy of Sex', but that was the extent of my sexual knowledge.

My friends and I did a rough count one drunken night at a cottage around a fire. I was up to 300+ back then. They thought I was bullshitting until a close friend who had been witness to a plethora of indiscretions said "Nope, I don't think he's lying..." I don't think I was either. A good majority of those were one night stands. I didn't count the SP's. I also worked at a number of bars as a bouncer, so the advantage to getting laid was in my court on a nightly basis.
