If a man has a penis he is a man and should not be allowed into a woman's change room in my humble opinion. Especially if he is aroused by the situation. I for one would not feel comfortable knowing my wife was changing in a room housing an individual with male reproductive organs.

There are over 20 million transgendered people worldwide but we still only have two formal genders, male and female. The struggle someone faces as a transgendered individual is they constantly have to make choices between male and female washrooms and change rooms. Both may have terrible outcomes--going into a men's washroom, they risk getting harassed and beaten up. In the women's washroom, they risk getting kicked out and a scene being made. If I had to make a choice, it wouldn't be the latter of the two.

With over 20 million transgendered people, we still try to segregate them into a gender binary that they don't and can't possibly fit in and then get pissed off when they pick a gender that they identify most with.

It isn't fair to indoctrinate young children and yet we seem to do it so enthusiastically... into things like gender binaries, homophobia, and religious ideology. It's incredibly sad.

I recall in 2004, one of the main news-shows (W5, 5th Estate or 60 minutes) aired a documentary about the Third Gender in Pakistan and how these people could only be carnival workers and were treated like lepars, which was wrong then and wrong now. They bleed and breathe the same as you and I.
