Are you planning on attending the pride march? Or, better yet, are you going to be marching in it? I sure am attending. Can't wait to see the guys and gals dress up in interesting costumes. I'm not gay, but it sure feels good to live in a society that's tolerant of people of different sexual orientation and race.

while i can see their desire for this type of event, and the $$ it brings to the city, I agree that it does seem rather silly to have such an event to mark one's sexuality...I mean, do we have "straight uptight secretary's" weekend? do we have "anal retentive accountant's" weekends?

I always thought that if I was a gay 30 something professional of some kind I'd find the parade a bit embarrassing. I mean it really is a scuzzy amateur hour out there. Sorry I know it's not politically correct to say that but scuzzy was the most accurate adjective I could come up with for looking at a bunch of unattractive, half naked people in costumes made by a grade 3 class.
