Who’d have thought that hookers have more integrity than some politicians? A great many of you probably — and you’d be right.

Honourable members may or may not be more prone than the average person to seeking comfort in the arms of representatives of the oldest profession.

They certainly have more opportunity than most, being away from home and spouses for long periods of time. Some of the current cohort have succumbed to temptation and are well known to local prostitutes, according to the sex workers themselves.

“This is Ottawa, so of course people are talking. I’ll leave it at that,” said FrederiqueChabot, a representative of POWER (Prostitutes of Ottawa/Gatineau Work, Educate and Resist).

Some of those MPs are Conservatives, who are also in favour of criminalizing the purchase of sex — a position that would appear to require a considerable degree of moral contortion to reconcile.

Did you ever consider that not all "Conservatives" support this Bill ? Also consider how many NDP and Liberal MP's have spoken out against this Bill - very few if any.

This is going to be ultimately decided by the Supreme court if the opposition political parties do not come out against it and if the cops and women's right's groups etc lend tacit support for it.

I say get the list ready, come out and state how many conservatives are on it and let it be known as soon as the bill passes the list gets released in the media. I have a feeling this is exactly what will happen when the anger of the ladies reaches the boiling point.

I don't know about rumour. These guys are away from home, money isn't an issue, they aren't exactly the best looking men so trust me a handful if not more pay for it. I'm sure the same could be said of some of the Liberal and NDP's but I wouldn't want them exposed unless of course they voted against us.

I said was against this Bill. Unfortunately that is not an an excuse voting for for Justin and Thomas if don't have the balls to publicly come against it either.

The Harperites have done many other things which they deserve to be outed from power. I believe Art Mann posted most of their indiscretions that we publicly are aware of. The Provincial liberals were not my choice either but Hudak left workers no choice but to play it safe with strategic voting.

I would have absolutely been giddy if Andrea Horwath had carried the day but it may have allowed Hudak a chance at sneaking in through the middle.

As for the Federal NDP party I'm not particularly a fan of Thomas, I would love for Francois to take the lead role but that's just my personal opinion. I'd still choose the Federal NDP over the Liberals but I have to be realistic about it. Justin is in the cards for 2015 and in my books it's better than the Conservatives hanging on to the reins of power.
