That is true, until they find a way for computers to determine if images are of children, and then flag them. Of course, when that happens, many mistakes will be made, false-positives determined, etc., etc.

We can have movies blowing people to pieces, we can describe rape in a book - same difference.
Nobody is being harmed or exploited by a drawing.

[h=2]Operation Northern Spotlight laid 33 charges against nine people, including forcible confinement and child porn. Many Ontario police forces were involved.[/h]
Hundreds of women were interviewed by police from 26 departments as part of a Canada-wide human trafficking sting operation. This is a still from a Russia-Canada documentary on human trafficking.

Ontario Provincial Police in Orillia say a 12-year-old Winnipeg girl was among 18 people who were brought to safety during a nationwide human-trafficking investigation.

They say 33 charges have been laid against nine people, including forcible confinement, making and distributing child pornography, assault and trafficking in persons.

Twenty-six police forces were involved in Operation Northern Spotlight, including those in Toronto, Peel, Durham, Halton, Brantford, Hamilton, Waterloo, Barrie, Kitchener RCMP, London, Peterborough-Lakefield, Port Hope, Ontario Provincial Police, Edmonton, Calgary, Regina, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Halifax and Quebec City.

This is the second phase of the coordinated police operation

Police say hundreds of young women were interviewed during the operation, which was first launched last January and focused on hotels and motels along major thoroughfares in 30 cities and towns across the country.

“Members of 26 police services pre-arranged to meet with people suspected of partaking in the sex trade, potentially against their will, at urban locations across Canada. Police were also able to ensure the safety of 18 people who had been working in the sex trade as a minor or against their will, including a 12-year-old,” police said.

During the first phase of the operation, more than 340 women were interviewed and police allege many of them some as young as 15 had been threatened with violence, extortion and drug dependency, among other forms of coercion.
