Made with Love

Rest in peace 2017 edition.

RIP Chuck Berry, great artist back in the days.

Johnny B good reminds me more of Marty Mcfly's performance in back to the future

Poor Lucille will be devastated.

I actually thought he was dead a long time ago.

90 is a very good long age to have made it through. He outlived by decades Elvis, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, etc., etc. People who were born long after his career had faded, and he'd gone into retirement, and he was still around watching all of this come and go. :shout:

I somehow thought Chuck Barris had already died, just like Chuck Berry. Interesting two Chuck B's died so soon after one another, and I thought they were both already dead! Damn-Not too smart

Comedian Don Rickels dead at 90

Comedian Don Rickels dead at 90

brasive comic Don Rickles, the honorary Rat Pack member and celebrity roast guest whose career spanned six decades, has died. He was 90.Rickles died Thursday morning at his home in Los Angeles from kidney failure, his longtime publicist Paul Shefrin confirmed. He would have turned 91 on May 8.

This man was one of my all time favorite comedians. When I was a kid my father had all his records even a couple of bootleg copies from private Fryers roasts. Very inappropriate for young kid but was really funny. He had a good life

I used to watch "The Gong Show" on NBC every day at lunch in high school. The daily grand prize of $516.32 was equal to one day of SAG scale.

Most people don't know this, but the contestants on Survivor and other 'elimination' reality show competitions who don't win the grand prize are paid for the number of days that they appear on the show, because technically, the shows are considered to be 'scripted', by union rules. Otherwise, they would have a hard time finding people who would eat rotting pig brains, just for sport. I think everyone who makes the 'jury' in Survivor get a minimum, plus additional if they outlast some of the other also-rans, but I don't know the precise details. It's not as if CBS only ponies up the $1 Million grand prize, some rice, flint, and some fishing gear and hammocks, for the whole season. A few of the more buxom contestants from past seasons earn big bucks in the personal entertainment industry, if you catch my drift. Not the dogs like Debbie in the current edition, of course, but lets just say that one former Mormon chick who claims to be a virgin, isn't.
