Should managers nd restaurant owners get tips?

I remember vacationing in Melbourne, Australia where tip wasnt allowed at all. I tried to tip many times but to no avail. WHen I think about it, we should get rid of tips. Call me cheap or whatever, I just think tipping causes too many unneccessary and hostile issues.
