Have all the faith you want Baz. BUt live and let live. Don't push your faith on others. If you truly believe, then you should feel that God has a plan, even for those who do not believe. Is it not often said that you do not have to believe in God for him to believe in you. Let people make their own choice on what they believe.

I don't believe I've tried to convert anyone to any religion. All I've said is I believe in a higher power, I never mentioned once what my faith is. The fact many here keep bringing up religion is an agenda wrongly assigned to me. Yes I've asked questions about the hope one has believing in an afterlife but that was merely for debate purposes as opposed to attempting to convert anyone.

I am pretty sure that in the beginning, you did say you were Christian, but I could be wrong. However as Sheik has said, and I have pointed out in the past, before you changed some of your posting style, you would set up threads and posts that were very judgmental. You would often make a post in the form of a question but with a statement as well that would basically make it so that if a person answered one way, they were damned and if they answered the "right" way, then God would hold them in his good grace.

Now I personally think that at the beginning you knew you were doing it however after time you have toned it right down in my opinion. I think you have - and I don't get how - a sense of belonging and community here. So you have a little more respect for the membership here and therefore you try harder not to judge. This is just my opinion. Some people will never get past a single post you made way back when. Others are more mature and therefore can accept change, can forgive past mistakes and see past what a person posted a year ago. You and I have done this. I would refuse to get into your threads before. Now, we are cool.

Also, I was not implying that you are converting people. But even still, just a little, you push your faith. I chalk it up to being more about being happy with your God and wanting to share, but it can and sometimes does come across as pushing. I know that quite often, until someone meets me or speaks to me on the phone, they take my posts and my intent wrong all the time. So I know that sometimes the intention of the post does not come through in text/type. This could also be a factor now.

People will come around. It will happen more and more, and if not, then don't worry about those people. You can't please everyone.

You maybe correct Ms. Femmefatal, I may have stated I'm Christian and if I had not I will state it now. I am a Christian and I'll leave it at that. You are also correct that my first impression of this community was one of disgust and this derived mainly from a lack of understanding on my part. I still at times read posts that leave me wide eyed and astonished but I've come to realize that many here, especially some of the ladies for hire are very articulate and intelligent individuals including some of my many foes that continue to castigate me at every opportunity. A perfect example of this is Sheik claiming I'm judgmental but constantly judging me at every post, every word I submit which is ok, I'm a big boy and I don't mind a few stones thrown in my direction. I am a big proponent of the old fashioned nuclear family because I believe this form of a guild-line for living ones life is a better one for society as a whole but slowly this is changing. I felt and still do to some extent that the life style proclaimed here along with other factors are slowly helping to erode the nuclear family. Married men sneaking out of the home to enact on their lust with the families finances cannot make for a healthy marriage in my opinion.
