I've used movers quite a number of times over the years and there are 3 kinds. There are the ones that give you a high price and stick to that price unless something major comes up. They are also the most reliable of the bunch.


There are those that go cheap, the hourly rate and estimate the time and then add extra charges after the fact.


Then there are those who who give you a rate and then hold your furniture hostage at the delivery point for extra charges. Those people are for lack of a better word, SCUM.

Unfortunately what happened, happened. They tried to take advantage of a woman and unfortunately it happens too often.
