Showing up at the home is wrong, even an email may be a tad out of line but I don't see anything wrong with a quick hello on FB and if no hello back, forgetaboutit.

I agree with this, sometimes that does happen. Not so much in my case though. There are a few that I had told right off the start that the relationship was never going to go anywhere, and a few others that have played me when I made my intentions known that I did want a relationship. Either way, for myself, the past is the past and it should stay in the past.

If you notice, I asked for others opinions here to get other points of view...notice no one else came off like your post? they simply stated their opinion, reasons etc.

After a friend of mine made contact with an ex over FB I told him to be very careful. I said review why it was that you broke up with her before you move ahead. He said that "Man, I was such a douche to her.... I have a chance to make it right."
