I love reading reviews. I love reading anything written by people I know intimately. When the subject matter is myself, it just makes me blush and giggle more. I consider myself fortunate to have marvellous sweeties who respect me immensely so maybe I'm biased...blessed...whatever.

That is a great way of looking at reviews, Amy. Ratings/Numbers are too subjective and one man's 10 will be another man's 1 which is inevitable also one man's experience will not be the same for another man; hence, Your Mileage May Vary! Mine's great!

When I review a lady, all the information is there with a link to her agency or website. I hope the lady or agency reads them because I want her to know what a great experience I had and share it others. So what if my or anyone else's reviews are lenghty or could be sent to Penthouse letters, the reader can choose to move on, and that's their loss.

In a perfect world, every client would have the perfect experience, and I have said numerous times that this is a hobby for men not boys and that relates directly to discretional income. In addition, when there is a negative review, it's usually written in the heat of the moment and becomes a diatribe of nonsense; I always say did you contact the agency or indy afterwards (be concise and polite when do so).

It's a business for the ladies and should be a fun business for you as well, and for us gentlemen it's stress reduction therapy and emotional/physical therapy in many ways.

That's true for some guys who use reviews to take down a woman and feel they've paid for that right, but the majority on a respectful board like HUBGFE aren't playing that game.
It sounds like you've had bad experiences on other boards, try coming on here with a more open attitude to those who pay for sex.
Reviews have allowed us to buy with our eyes open and with less fear, surely you can see this benefits both sides?

IMO, this is a business - The review system is like reviewing a product or service. That is it - nothing more.

If SP's provided this service for free - I then would totally agree with your comment.

The grey area - Sometimes there is some intimacy between the SP and the John. From the John's perspective - he is not sure if SP is being sincere or just part of her service / act of providing a good time. However, if there was some intimate aspect that the John believes is true - I think the John should consider not disclosing the specifics in a review.

From the John's perspective - shelling out $250 to $300 per hour is a lot of money. There is also a time commitment. I try and do research so I am not disappointed. I have gone in just based on pictures and description "about me" and the personality and look / service is totally not what is claimed - waste of time and money.

I think the review boards are good. The SPs that perform well are recognized and get more business. In addition, there are a few reviewers that have similar tastes to you. You know if those reviewers recommend someone, 9 / 10 times the recommended sp will be good.

With respect to reviewers that are not honest - that is another issue. The Mods have to do something. I will try and think about something over the weekend.

We can all call shill and we can all be called shill but there is cold hard truth that only the lady and gent know what happens and this goes for bad experiences too. There are always 3 sides to every story. I really like your comments regarding research, expense and positive reviews quantity. Always keep in mind that every experience and review is YMMV. I say that because I have regular lady friends that from time to time are off their game for whatever reason and I appreciate when they cancel, postpone and sometimes confide what is happening in their life not looking to be saved but just an objective ear.

Women act fragile as an indirect means of getting their needs met. It is not wrong to want one's needs met, even the need for attention, but manipulating others to that end isn't healthy. Don't spend more time complaining about something than you spend trying to fix it. It's just bad math, and a misdirection of your resources. If you feel you can't fix or understand it, create an alternative, so as not to remain frustrated.
