Before M.A.D.D. and R.I.D.E. and the awareness of drinking and driving. I am sure we have all been guilty of doing it ones or twice but with maturity we have realized it is a stupid thing to do. Do you have any stories of yourself or someone you know that really went ovecommunity like this person?.

An allegedly impaired driver took an icy plunge Friday morning after he drove right off the road and into Lake Ontario.
The driver was heading south on Lower Spadina Ave. when he failed to stop at Queens Quay and landed in the freezing water around 5:30 a.m.
“He ended up in the middle of the lake,” Sgt. Jeff Zamit said from the scene.
The driver was able to exit from the passenger side of the car, according to witnesses who also helped pull the man from the water.
He was taken to hospital and is under arrest for impaired driving, police said.
The vehicle remains in the water while the marine unit investigates.
Early Friday morning, the temperature was -12 C, feeling more like -22 C with the windchill.
