Yes good points, if I were referring to all mericuns as being one way or another. Which I wasn't. In that post I simply made a sarcastic point, that shouldn't those Americans who voted for him be proud.They all were and are Americans, or Mericuns In this case generalizing is appropriate, unless you know of some who've voted for him that are now ashamed and not proud
When I've inferred that those voting for Trump were idiots, or stupid, that was wrong, and that is generalizing, and for that I apologize and have apologized, in another thread. As I know that many are, intelligent, caring , good people, they just made a wrong choice in picking a candidate,* imo* but I think you knew I wasn't being literal, just angry
