Although the situation can be frustrating, I don't think we should be able to determine how a person should spend or live their lives. Even if it is "our" money. We need to support these people so they can continue to have the basic necessities of life. They should be entitled to shelter, water, and food. I don't think we should by denying anyone of that. No matter how much "harder" we feel we work than them.
I totally agree with you. I'm sure there are a few bad apples taking advantage of the system but the public mainly due to the pundits attack everyone on welfare.
There definitely is a stigma attached to the word welfare.
