Trying To Lose Weight? Consider This

. . . and irrelevant news for bacon lovers who have already had a vasectomy.

I listened to this storey being discussed on the radio during my drive in. I could here the guy in the car beside me waiting at the red light screaming NOOOOOOOOOO! even with his windows up. :biggrin2:

Preach it Brother!

"the study is small and we know that accurately measuring sperm size and shape in the laboratory is fraught with error."

...simply fraught with error, tsk, tsk. :unknw:

Now men have to worry about the size and shape of their sperm.

Losing weight without exercising.

Losing weight without exercising.

I've lost almost 20 lbs in 9 months by just watching what I eat. Chicken with dark rye bread for lunch and small portions of fish or light tomato sauce pasta in the evening. Stay away from alcohol, all red meats and pops.

Anyone else lose weight without hitting the gym?.

Share your secrets please. Getting tired of eating the same foods every day.

Thanks in advance.

It's a simple formula: eat less calories than you burn, and you lose weight. If you sit around like a couch potato or run 10 miles a day, simply eat less than you burn and the fat will disappear.

Well I went from a 41 waist to a 34 waist in 6 months by changing my diet because I became type 2 diabetic. Cut out all breads, pastas and soda and eat the 20 best foods for your body. I lost over 50lbs and have kept it off for a year. Simply eating better will do it. Once my health was better I began walking 1-2 miles daily and I do plyometric type exercises.

Almonds, asparagus, avocado, berries (rasp, blue, straw, cran, black), bell peppers, black beans, broccoli, brussel sprouts, butternut squash, chicken breast (baked, broiled, bbq), edamame, eggs, flaxseed, garlic, onion (white)red onion-very good for diabetics, green onion, spinach/romaine, salmon, sweet potato, tomato, yogurt,

Avocado and yogurt, I don't like the taste or texture.

Another trick is to eat often 5/6 times daily, drink a lot of water as well.

If I do have any bread products, it's whole wheat/multi grain, every once in awhile, I like peanut butter in a wrap and I do eat tuna, salmon or chicken wraps, but I don't buy loafs of bread. I don't even like eating pasta now makes me feel bloated and ill.

Other things that I have learned, green tea is very good for diabetics, I drink 2/3 per day with nothing in it.

I take fish oil, Metamucil tablets (fibre), vitamin d,k, cinnamon extract or sticks melted into butternut squash soup is good.

Cut down red meat intake to 4-6 ounces no more than 2x per week.

I drink coke zero or diet coke, gingerale, root-beer or cream soda no more than 2 per day. I used to coke classic and I won't tell you how much because it was nuts.

I'm a moderate drinker, actually haven't had alcohol since September by choice.

If you're eating, canned veggies, drain them, wash in cold water before warming up.

When you go to the grocery store read the labels! You can chips, but there are kinds that are made for diabetics and those on diets.

On the back!
Check the grams of fats
Check the cholesterol always aim for 0%
Check the sodium always aim for 0%
Carbs - fibres = actual carbs per serving, there are 15 grams of carbs in a full serving. If you have a slice of bread that's 1.5 servings of carb and you shouldn't have more than 10 servings, so a sandwich is 3 of 10 as an example.
Check sugars, no more than 40 grams daily and that's a lot of sugar.
