Used phone??

Hey guys...any of you have an old smartphone in a drawer, or somewhere that you have no use for? I'd need it "unlocked" and will give it to the little chick I see in Mexico....she is telling me she broke her phone (hint hint)
If not, no worries, but if you do, and have time to get it unlocked by the carrier (I'll pay he charge...usually $35 or so) it would go to a good cause...and likely help a fellow hobbiest ;-)..if u know what I mean lol...I'm leaving the 15th

If you don't have any luck you can purchase a used iPhone or Samsung at K-Tronics on McArthur and while your there you can go upstaris and see one of the grandmas at Inona

I might have a old BB Bold somewhere, I'm not sure she would accept a Blackberry which uses the old Blackberry Internet network.

Ha...what choice does she have...I have a BB Q 10, but the playphone I use is an old BB Curve....they're fine for "talk/text" (wiFi works for emails, whatsApp etc)...if u can find it, and wipe it, it'll be fine. You own it, but it may still be locked...the carrier can unlock it.

Fantastic...let me knowif you come across it.....she is putting her chip in her daughters phone to text me now....so anything is better than no phone for her. I know she will pout cuz she really thinks all "gringos' are wealthy and it should be no sweat for me to just buy her an iPhone 6

I just looked through my drawers for that old phone, where I thought I had put that phone. Can't find it any more. Seems to happen all of the time: the longer you put something away and out of mind, you forget where you actually put it.

Actually no, her old BB is also missing, which I thought was in that drawer too. I'm sure it's somewhere, just not where I thought it was. And the BB was wiped away years ago, of all of its data, full security wipe, gotta love the BB's emphasis on security.
