Maybe he should've cooperated. Maybe the officer was gun happy, but anytime I see one of these stories, I think of Chris Rock....

I maybe wrong but I believe it was one racist juror who could not find a white man guilty of shooting a black man. I believe it's a mistrial and the dirty cop will be retried.

That could be it, but people have failed to look at the root cause of such things (which is not an excuse to be shot, buuuuut...). The RCA (root cause analysis) can be found in Chris Rocks video. It's pretty simple....

No.
The true meaning is the jurors are from the same town you are from.

Jury trials are a crap shoot in many cases.
The attorneys play to the emotions ans sensibilities of the jury.
Whereas a trial with only a sitting judge the arguments are more so of legal matters.

You mean frontier justice.

There's no doubt that the officer lied on his report saying there was a struggle; there may very well have been before the cam vid but to shoot a man for running (as slow as he was) and emptying his clip, this was a gun happy cop. The way he sauntered up to the perp was very telling as well.

Now on the other hand, no one really knows what goes through a cops mind in a situation that is life and death except another cop. Most are good, but there is always bad.

This will be interesting to see how this will turn out.

Frontier justice would have occurred at the end of a rope.

Bullets were not used in executions, for the most part.

Also the pistol in the old west was known as a 6 shooter not an 8 shooter.
Normally you would only load five shells in the gun and leave the chamber at the muzzle empty.
Sort of a safety measure.
