I have a good paying job with benefits and great coworkers but my boss is a bully screaming asshole. Tried looking for other jobs in my field but the pay is too low and just doesn't fit with my monthly expenses.

I confronted him once why he keeps screaming at us and he said take it or leave it.

How many here been in the same situation?.

Wan't there a tread that a woman sued her boss for being a bully?.

Grass is not always greener on the other side.

OR

Is it the other way around :unknw:

I wouldn't work at a job I wasn't happy at. Take less money and move on dude.

worked for a company for 20 years and was unhappy there for the last 7

in February it came to a head and we both agreed I was leaving.

Working now doing the same thing but different and traveling the country for them.

Much better fit.

So, Wino, you moved on to a bench with a couple bottles of Old Turkey at your feet? Not exactly the best role model for young Stormy, are you?:biggrin2:

hate- dealing with the public and up and down income (commission). like- being able to be anywhere at anytime as my own boss, and take vacations when i want, if i have the dough.

I've learned over the years that there is a prick/odd ball in every corporation.

If you're in an established company with a HR dept, I'm sure you can reference something where it states code of conduct, unacceptable behaviour etc. If there is, then go to HR and complain about the guy.

That said - hate my job. Like some of my colleagues. Am staying since the money is quite good.

What he said.

as stated, there are rules as to how one can act in an office.....you may have a legal recourse with the HRDC......

As for my job?
Hate:
Every site boss does things differently. Do the same job at a different site and you'll be wrong or right you just never know. There is no standardization.
Cold and wet: it is pretty miserable working in -30 or -3 with rain.......
no benefits in any way shape or form.

Likes:
steady income.

Things we do for money eh?

The more I read about the T experience, the more I wish I hadn't asked.

Want me to ask if they have any openings for more SP tasters, pal? :biggrin2:
