I think the best way to show appreciation to an SP is to repeat. I was never a tipper but a hell of a repeater (2 times in one day more then once) I never felt bad at all for not tipping and the women always seemed to enjoy the repeat business
15% when I have had wine at dinner, 20% when I haven't (breakfast and lunch), $5 to hotel valet at drop off and $5 at pick up to park my car ( I rarely need help with bags as I only usually have an overnighter on wheels and a briefcase), $20 to the maid on first night of a 2 day hotel stay. Between 0 and $30 to an MPA based on service/mileage levels. Zero to an INDY sp - one assumes she keeps 100% of the base fee.
Half to the agency and half to her in most cases.
They still have to pay for advertisement, rent, transportation etc...

Restaurant 20% minimum, more if the service was great
Bar $1/drink
Food delivery 20%. maybe more if the weather is really bad.
WaxGirl 30%
Hair $20 if service is under $100. if it's over (it usually is, but damn my hair looks GREAT!), 30%
Valet $5 on drop-off and on pick-up
Hotel housekeeper $3-5/night depending on the hotel and how messy I am. I tip daily in hotels because I don't know if the same person will be cleaning the room for my entire stay.
Porter - it's been years since I've needed one, I travel light.
Large-item Delivery People - depends on what it is. Washer/dryer guys I think I gave $25 each, sleeper-sofa guys got $40.

I tip tow truck drivers.
I have CAA and have had friend and family cars towed.
The driver will say it's suppose to be only for you!
A quick $20 changes their minds fast.
