When I was little there used to be commercials with Smoky the Bear saying "only you can prevent forest fires". I thought he meant ONLY ME. It worried me deeply because I had no idea how to prevent forest fires.

So a couple of weeks ago I did something I very rarely do...I went shopping at the mall. After two hours of unsuccessful shopping I was tired and cranky and ready to leave, but decided to check out one more section of mall first...I came around the corner and saw this. Freaked me right out!

Freaky! I saw several signs with Smokey the Bear and his messages up in northern BC a few years ago, so they're still out there. Be prepared!

Listening to the radio I always thought the bands were lined in the studio ready to play.

The dj would point to the band, and they would play their song.
