When will drivers learn?

There was a fatal crash on 401 near Ajax this morning , involving a tractor trailer and a car, as usual, there were rubberneckers, however, the police are pulling over and charging drivers(distracted driving) that were snapping pics/videos of the accident as they drove by.

Yup I agree but by doing so they probably tied up more traffic. I had a meeting in Vaughan yesterday and was driving along Rutherford. I ran into a traffic tie up just before the 400. I find out the police had one lane tied up pulling people over handing out tickets. I'm not sure for what but this is wrong when the Police tie up traffic and endanger drivers with these antics.

Yes, traffic was probably tied up more, but in the long run, hopefully these drivers that got charged with distracted driving will think twice about using cellphone while driving in future, thus preventing accidents.

You would think but there will just be a new bunch of people doing it, more tickets, more tie ups.

I'm sick of the traffic, I HATE IT!! You cannot go anywhere in the city without running into a traffic jam except the 407. I can't afford the 407 on union wages God Dammit and now I hear BONBONS raised their prices too!:Crying/:

They also closed the 403 this morning for a fatal crash and then another 5 car pile up on the next exit. Most have no idea what checking your blind spot means.

They should also ticket drivers driving the opposite end of an accident while slowing traffic because they want to take see tragedy.

Don't give them more ideas on how to wage war on the cars. The latest brain fart of a couple of Councillors is that motorist must give Toronto cyclist one meter of space before passing. You can imagine the grid lock this can cause downtown.
