Hey pops.

I vent for a few moments and then let it go.
When I was growing up, I wasn't allowed to express anger, so I learned to keep quiet, and I only heard my parents argue a few times. My first husband grew up believing it was best to vent, yell, scream, get it all out of your system so you feel better. After a few years of trying to keep quiet, I finally started yelling back, but I hated it. He used to have black out blind rages, then wake up the next day, not remember a thing he'd said and wonder why my feelings were hurt.
One of my kids inherited their dad's temper, so we learned about Anger Management along the way.
Working as a SP taught me how to have incredible self discipline over my emotions because I had to keep a cool head to survive, no matter what was happening.
As I get older I realize it takes longer and longer to bury the bodies......So I am much slower to anger if I get angry at all.
