I thought that there was an update to this - a reunion with the dog's master.

I hate to think but there were a lot of floating bodies reported in the debris that washed out.

Would you not do it yourself if you were stranded and had not had anything to eat for weeks. Reminds me of the Chilean soccer team that crashed in the Andes. 1972 I believe.

Watched that movie?

Yes I saw the movie (Alive) and would do the same thing myself.

Still don't like the reality that the dog most likely did that.

Would like to think that there was 3 weeks supply of dog food available and a doggy can opener, lol.

I think he just caught fish to feed himself for the period of time he was stranded.

(Least that's what I keep tellin myself...)

What an uplifting tale of survival. And personally, if Im dead anyways, I would want a dog or a human to eat my remains if it meant them saying alive. I dont need my body anymore. Its kind of like donating for a transplant to keep someone else alive.

For a dog that out floating around for 3 weeks he certainly doesn't look like he missed too many meals....

Actually there seem to be different accounts as to the outcome of this story but I choose to like this one best.
