Are Mars bars healthy to eat?

The other day I was talking to my dad on the phone and he mentioned that he just finished his second Mars bar of the day. Dad!!! :SayWhat?:

He's been eating at least one a day since I was a kid and now he's in his 80's, so I'm wondering if their advertising is true. Hmmmmmm

If you are old enough, you may remember Nancy Greene and her commercials on CBC about "A Mars bar a day...". Nancy wouldn't lie to you, would she? :biggrin2:

Just don't deep fry them every day...

Remember when all the Hollywood matinee idols made us think smoking was cool too? Every time I watch an old black and white classic, it's revolting to see them blowing smoke in each other's faces as if it's sexy.

Hey Doc, I found a new Asian lady while playing golf at Angus glen new South course last week. I was paired with her and shared the same cart. We hit it off and had a dinner date the following day. She booked at a French restaurant by Yonge and York mills. That damn place costed me close to 300 bucks. I got a text from her 3 days later she has booked a reservation at down town Jacobs for dinner with me. I told her I hate going down town and told her I am not interested in going there. I didn't hear back from her since. I can see she is a very high maintainance type with brand names written all over her fore head. What should I do?.

It was so funny. She called and I suggested a very good Thai place inside First Markham place food court. Not in a sarcastic way, that place serves really good authentic Thai food. Her answer was she never eat at food courts inside shopping malls. So I told her off she prefers eating at fine dining places where they serve their meals under very dimmed lights where she cannot see any craps and such lol.

haha...you are a bit too late Doc. I have been doing that quite often lately. After my retirement all I do is golf , sex and massage or massage and sex. You should come visit TO once in a while. Things have changed a lot since last yr and there are so many cute Asian MPAs and SPs more than old fart can handle. The one in China is also sending me emails daily. Thank God she's away..Pheeewww! Life is good so far. Donno how long will that last..lol.

Nah...my OHIP card is still good. They said I haven't hit that age yet. lol. Our family is still holding the old ones with no pictures on them so sometimes I use my youngest brother's card and everything is smooth.

I have full faith in my Doc. He always provides me with the right pills I need most times. Sometimes 100mg blues and sometimes 20mg yellows. No prescriptions needed.
