Ask the Doctor thread

I would think you would have enough sense to go and visit your family doctor. You may have contracted an STI and waiting will only make things worse.

Sorry, no. An STI typically won't make the skin dry and itchy without sores present...much more likely to be a simple dry skin issue or a minor skin problem. Or, as the little blue guy says, it could be Jock Itch (a fungus) but that's relatively easy to diagnose and cure. A spray or cream application of Tinactin would help in that case.

Hey Doc, how do I stop myself from dating MPAs? I am still having trouble stopping myself from that disease and going through one after another. Recently I ran into a very good player and having a hard time dealing with her. She's so good at her game and beating me good all the time. What should I do?

I know you have done lots of extensive researches on that subject. Have you come across any cure yet?

The good doctor is busy at the moment giving Papa an enema.

Sit down and tell me all about your adventures with this naughty MPA and I will try to help you out.

Better yet, invite her here so I can give her a physical.

Thanks for the offer but I prefer sticking with my doctor who has all my records of the past few years.

Dammit, fine but you've insulted my assistant. GO AHEAD wait for the old quack, I'm taking my nursing assistant out for breakfast!

It's an incurable disease. The good ones sink their hooks in you and will not depart until they are bored of you or you are broke, whichever comes first. Don't fight it...give in. It's easier and more fun :biggrin2:

If you really must give up one who's on your mind, see many others until you find you've lost interest in the first!

Thanks Doc. I will do that. It's easier to give in than fighting with her. I thought I am pretty good at this game but this one beats me all the time. She is very good at handling balls and very well known as master of manipulator. She throws lots of curve balls at me while I wasn't expecting and got me good all the time. I guess it is better to quit before she hit me real hard. Damn! she's good.

Hey, there is a saying..Do as I say,. Don't do as I do.

Dammit...its easier said than done. lol.

As a very wise man once told me, don't fall in love with the MP/SP. I wish that wise man had been more convincing to both me and himself :sorry2: It happens...go with the flow...

Doc, I know what you are trying to say. I am very much surprised at myself how I fell for this one. She is not even my type. She doesn't have the look, the body nor the sexual appeal but she is very cute and very good at this game. Her personality and her charm swept me away. I thought I have mastered this game, boy..I was wrong. Time to walk away before I got hurt. Thanks for waking me up Doc and aLover.

What can I do to ease the itching of scar tissue?

And no Baz, it's not STI related.

Topical anti-itch creams are probably the best bet. There's a lot of Over-the-counter stuff that will work well for you. Visit the local drug store and explain to the pharmacist you have an itchy scar and they will give you their best stuff that doesn't require a prescription. If you don't want to talk to a pharmacist, then just look in the first aid section for an anti-itch cream. There's a lot that are there.

If it's really annoying you, try taking an allergy medicine. The best bet is Benadryl (but buy the generic with DiPhenhyramine Hydrochloride to save a good bit of cash...it's exactly the same stuff). Benadryl will help the itch better than other allergy pills like Claritin and Allerdryl.

Walking away, in my experience, is damn near impossible UNLESS you have a replacement to help distract. I suggest visiting lots of ladies as a therapy. Then try and deduct the costs from your taxes :biggrin2:

Doc, I think I will be fine cuz I am only 2-3 weeks into it. Not months or yrs like the other ones and I already have a few side kicks who will help me ease the pain. lol, I am still puzzled and wondering what the heck happened to me. She is that good Doc. Hit me up when you are in TO.
