LAPD Officers Body Slamming Woman onto Pavement

LAPD Officers Body Slamming Woman onto Pavement

Heads will be rolling soon.

I see a nice multi-million dollar lawsuit coming :YMAPPLAUSE:

Heck, for a few $million they can toss me around like that too Funky & Music

Here's some thoughts!

1. She's kinda sexy.
2. Nice cleavage.

3. Don't talk on the cell phone while driving! The cop may have used his lights to summon her to pull over, but she may have been too enthralled into
the conversation and not notice them. THAT leads to big problems anywhere.

4. One cop has 22 years experience, the other cop has 10 months, can you tell which is which? I can!

5. Regardless of how foul mouthed she may have been, she should not have been thrown to the ground either time.

6. I am uncertain why cops always feel the need to throw people to ground; they can be injured badly themselves in a melee. They are trained 'properly' in hand to hand combat and could easily put 80% of detainees on the ground which simple restraint manuervres. In fact, she was cuffed, so all that required to gain 'absolute' control would be to raise the chain on the cuffs making her bend forward. If she continued to struggle, both officers should have 'under/over' escorted her by placing her in the bent over position, with their inside arm under hers and the outside arm locking just under her neck. If she needed to be put on the ground, The officers drop their outside knee and the inside knee will be in a 90 degree angle. She won't like that position, and it's completely legal.

1 bad cop here
1 rookie that still needs training.

Being an L.A. police officer is a bitch of a career. I can't imagine the amount of stress they are under on a daily basis.

That being said the second throwing on the ground while she was cuffed is completely out of line and needs to be addressed.

I will also add however that had she cooperated from the get go then she would have just received a ticket and everything would have been hunky dory so to speak.

I'm betting that she was having a bad day and the veteran officer is probably burned out.

A combustible situation too say the least.

That is a poor excuse for the body slam. Even if she was being a bitch that officer deserves to be suspended for at least a year with no pay.

The second body slam was outta line.
He should have followed up with either a gutwrench suplex or a DDT.

Its usually stress of the job + powertripping. They might have just been shot at or spit at during a previous call before this, and then they reached their boiling point with her.

Not that I'm excusing it of course

There is no reason to be rude to an officer but there is also no reason for an officer to use excessive force especially on a woman.

There are only two things you say to a cop:
Yes, sir (ma'am/officer).
No, sir (ma'am/officer).

Say anything else at your own risk. Refuse to follow instructions at your own risk. Seriously, cops have the power to fuck up your day big time if you give them any reason to. Insolence leads to violence.

Tis true, very true.

Even if they don't beat the crap out of you they can't ticket you or maybe charge you with something that ruins you financially hiring lawyers to defend yourself.

I had an incident where an officer came to arrest an individual in the work place of an assault outside the work place. The officer walked in, placed his hand around the gentleman's arm and told him he's under arrest. The man panicked , didn't lay a hand on the officer but darted away breaking the grip the officer had on he's arm. Within 1 one, he was apprehended, on his stomach and in handcuffs. No abuse from the officers, it was a quick and efficient take down, you have to consider there were many witnesses on hand so everything was done above board and within the rules except when it came to the charges.

Assault- of course that is why they came in the first place.
Resisting arrest- sure makes sense he attempted to bolt.
Assaulting a police officer- Now this one was bogus and far from the truth. The man only broke the grip and ran away. Once taken down he didn't lift a finger towards the officers.

Of course in court this one charge was thrown out. I was in court ready to be a witness and would have stepped up but I didn't need to as the judge threw it out right away.

The only time I come into contact with cops is when I get a traffic ticket, and I prefer to keep it that way
