Ingredients

4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
¼ cup Sriracha
¼ cup honey
2 tbsp. butter, melted
2 tsp. soy sauce
Salt and pepper
¼ tsp. red chili flakes
2 garlic cloves
1 tsp. dried basil
Fresh basil for garnish
Olive oil

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 425F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Wash and dry chicken breasts. Place onto baking sheet and coat with olive oil. Season with salt, pepper, and dried basil (1/4 tsp. per chicken breast.) Place into oven and bake for 20 minutes.

2. While the chicken is cooking, begin the sauce. In a bowl, mix together the Sriracha, honey, soy sauce, butter, chili flakes, garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine and taste for seasonings.

3. After the 20 minutes, reduce temperature to 375F. Pour half the sauce onto the chicken breasts and return to the oven for 10 minutes. Remove from oven again and pour the remaining sauce on top of chicken. Cook for 10 more minutes or until chicken is cooked through.

I have a slowcooker but i find that at the end, my food often tasted bland. Perhaps I am doing something wrong.

Totonno's pizza in NY, best pizza ever. You need a wood burning oven to get it right.
