Communications requires two active participants. Not one to rant and the other to listen.

Guys it's Christmas day let's enjoy this special day. Argue tomorrow.

It is becoming evident 2 to 3 people on this forum are attempting to dictate what other members do and it's not appreciated.

Christmas is not celebrated by all but I will say no more in respect for others that do.

Let's all have a group hug and some egg nog would be nice!:BigHug:

Peace I hope I'm not cutting your grass!

Fuck Christmas, it doesn't acknowledge the validity of grievance airing.

Some might say that Christmas is God's ultimate solution to grievances.

I'll forgive him for the Great Flood in Noah's time, but not for the Tsunami of 2004. That was purely vindictive on His part.

I posted A Christmas Story last night.

That was a great example of grievance airing.

What are your favourite moments in that movie?

I love the pink bunny suit, the cruel Santa, and the "FU ...." when the lug nuts go flying.

I tend to agree with you although I enjoy the spirit of Christmas and giving the idea of little people flying around with angel wings and a superhuman in the sky looking down monitoring everything we do doesn't sit well with me.

The entire movie in general seemed a parallel to my growing up.
I am sure most of us who grew up pre-electronic games, can relate.

Of course not, hugging is perfectly natural for anyone and it was never about competition. :)

Where's Prick? Hmmmmmm

He should have a good list of grievances written up by now.

If we're all done with the airing of grievances, shall we move on to the Feats of Strength??

Bob,
I see there is a message in my PM box from you.
I have not read it and I will not read it. If you have anything directed to me, put it in a public post.

The only point about is that it exists and has a green indicator when a friend is online. Nothing more. Take a quote out of context and anything can be made of it to fit whatever is meandering through those misfiring synapses.

Transient, I assure you that, if you read it, you'll see why it wasn't posted publicly. There's nothing negative about you, or anyone, or anything in it. Quite the contrary, as a matter of fact. If you don't want to read it, that's fine with me, too. I'll know if you have read it, if you reply to it.

The green light in the side bar has nothing to do with 'friendship'. It just means that person is logged in to HUBGFE. If you look in the 'new member introduction' thread, people you haven't met yet will have that green light. Art Mann did not cease to be your friend when he passed on, but he didn't log in again.

I'm assuming that we're talking about the same thing, the green dot beside the handle name, above the custom title and avatar. If you mean something else, then there must be a different green light that I haven't noticed.

My thanks for the airing should be respected, oldguyzer - it's my sincere appreciation for this thread and the sacred Festivus ritual.

Jasper, I had no grievances with anyone else. I'm surprised that no one else had any grievances about anyone else. That wasn't a 'bobistheowl's grievances thread, it was open, and is still open, to anyone. It says that in the last part of Stan Lee's 'bust' in post #1.
