I was sound asleep last night, sleeping like a baby actually. At about 3 am. in the morning I was awakened by what I thought was someone yanking on my ankle. I sat up in my bed and all my blankets seemed to slip off the bed and onto the floor.

I may have been dreaming and once awakened still in la la land but I tell you I was sure questioning myself and looking around curiously as I got up and walked into the washroom.

Anyone else have any freaky ghost experiences or am I just losing it??

You're losing it.

I'm kidding...I totally believe in ghosts. I lived in a house once where I would get woken up regularly by stuff like what you described. After I changed bedrooms it didn't happen anymore.

That was the same house where I'm pretty sure there was someone buried in the yard. I have no idea if she was the ghost.

Sometimes the dogs would sit there looking intently and barking at nothing I could see, it was weird.

I don't believe in ghosts, fairies, vampires or even Santa for that matter.

But they all have made for some interesting fiction through the years haven't they?

I didn't believe in ghosts until saw three with my own eyes.

What about fairies dressed in sexy lingerie MB?

I'm a non-believer too. There is absolutely no concrete evidence to date to prove otherwise, thong wearing fairies excluded.

You joking?

Nope. Was in Asia shortly after the tsunami. I saw three apparitions in my hotel room. I could sense that I was being watched before I saw them. They didn't say or do anything. They just hovered at different parts of the room. I left the lights on and went to bed. Never saw them again.

Wasn't drunk, high or drugged. Mentioned it to the hotel manager and he quietly said that it was not unusual.

Yikes. Happened to me years ago. Was in a hotel in Colombia trying to sleep and saw a shadow over the top dresser. I swear I saw the face and body of a ghost. He didn't do anything like make noise or hiss and was neither drunk or stoned either.

Never told a soul, afraid they would think I am nuts.

Exactly! just face and torso with arms. No legs. I had two float over the bar/sitting area and one floating over a doorway.

Man, members going to think we are crazy but similar scenario. Did you tell anyone when you saw it?.

Never saw a ghost - and don't believe in any of that paranormal tripe.
When its over - its over. No one gets to leave a little piece of themselves.

I believe it was something meant to heighten your awareness of your surroundings, maybe just a way of ensuring you're more cautious. I don't dwell on them but I've had 2 eerie creepy experiences in my life. I got the hell out of wherever I was both times and made sure I got to a safe place/person asap. I don't need to know why I was being warned or what I may or may not have avoided.

I dont pretend to understand what those who see ghosts might actually be seeing.
I think that it is possible that it may be an echo of something that once lived, or perhaps it has nothing to do with a past human life, and that is just how we chose to interpret an unexplained experience. None the less, I have seen a couple things over the course of my many years that defied rational explination, I also believe that some people are more open to having these experiences than others.

Having said that, One must appreciate that there are tons of hoaxes, cons and crap out there too,(probably the vast majority of what we see on the web etc) not to mention those who profess having these experiences due to a need for attention, or mental illness.

Chunky Its entirely possible that you experienced something unusual, and entirely possible you were just in lala land as you said. Trust your instincts.
