Montreal’s Parros carted off on stretcher.

So a player gets seriously injured and you choose to celebrate this?
I understand the emotions involved in a team besting their rivals but to find joy, in someone smashing their face into the ice, being knocked unconscious and receiving a major concussion, what are you thinking?

Bolland scores again.

3-1 Leafs.

We win we win :YMPARTY:

Bernier should be the first star.

Good to see we have 2 prime time goalies in our team.

Let me say firstly I take no pleasure in any player being seriously injured BUT hockey, football and most of the major sports involve risk and the athletes go in knowing this. Especially hockey, it's a fast paced bump and knock them down sport. Injuries happen and with this specific incident it was an ACCIDENT. Please note how Orr quickly realized what had happened and instead of pouncing on Parros quickly called for medical attention.

I would give my left nut to have been born with the skill to be able to play professional hockey knowing full well I could very easily be injured.

Repo is correct I did pull the phrase off of an article and I am celebrating the Leaf victory not the injury.

I also admit I want fighting to stay in the game and I want hard hitting body checks to stay in the game! It's HOCKEY and it's a tough game.

Nope.... you die hard leafs fans make me laugh.... how much disappointment can you take?
Hmmmmmm

Spoken like a true Leaf's fan...

If a woman disappointed you as much as the Leafs have, you would have left her long ago.

Hmmmmmm

Danolo, are you a Hab fan??

confess, TELL US THE TRUTH before I get Guido to pull down his pants in front of the bright light!

LEAFS 2 straight,

You have to love the coach's approach. He saw that Kadri was floating and he put Bollard in his place and paid big dividends.

. . . I would give my left nut to have been born with the skill to be able to play professional hockey knowing full well I could very easily be injured. . . .

Good thing is you'd never have to worry about an injury to your left nut.:biggrin2:

Who would have thought.

We are undefeated at 3-0 and we all know who our # 1 goalie is now.

The Leafs beat Ottawa, I'm surprised but good for them. Maurice do you have anything to say besides a little :Crying2:?

The Sens played the night before in Buffalo.

It's extremely difficult to win the second game on a back to back on the road in the NHL.

And you could see their legs give out on them in the third period and the over time.

I'm just glad they got a point.

Having said that the Leafs are looking really good this year. A good mix of skill and toughness. But they need to tighten up their defence to become an elite team.

The Leafs did it in Montreal then in Philly to open the season. Back to Back road wins :)
