:clapping::clapping::shout: shit, hold on, I have to go change my speedos after I seen SG accept my offer.

Don't worry, Peace is coming over to wax my bum. You will be witnessing a shiny bright moon if I go commando.
Madman will do it for yo and he'll wipe you as well. A nice bonus for you, eh?

No thank you but I do appreciate the offer. Peace, I have a big tree in the front of my house that is in need of a hug, would you like to spend an hour with old oak? No charge, just drive by and hug away buddy!

WIll you be serving your salami sandwiches...please no mangia-cake bread....

Guido, put an extra plate out for me... I don't mind if it's
mangia-cake bread.

but Dan, it just ruins the flavour...the texture....the taste...
ps. Please make sure the bread is freshly baked....not one day old crap...

Hey, not to resurrect this dead thread but....just had to say, this morning? When I got to site the temperature was, without the windchill.....are you ready?

Minus 32 freaking degrees.....I don't know what it was with the windchill but it was fuck ing COLD. So cold in fact that the boss gave us the option of calling it a day......we stayed and worked since we were already there.....

BTW: The boss said to me "It's so freaking cold I bet your little friend in the city would stick inside and give us all blowjobs before coming outside in this weather..." I shit you not, that's what he said. Kind of surprised me actually lol....

once the sun came up it was quite nice

Yeah, it was only -25 then lol....but then the sun went away and it was cold enough to freeze the balls of a brass monkey.

I will say this though, by 4:30 it did warm up to a balmy -7.....

Down here in Buffalo the winds were pretty still

quite nice

I hear you. When it was minus 7 with no wind, it really is a good temp to be working outside. When you pick up something covered in snow, it doesn't melt and get your gloves wet, then they (the gloves) freeze and you can't bend (or feel) your fingers.

It's going to be +4 and rainy on monday...it's going to be hell...literally hell.....

Dude, every-time I now go outside and my teeth start chattering I now think of you. I'm not sure that's a good thing!

NO HOMO HERE!!

Working outside is definitely a challenge. Too cold in the winter and sometimes too hot in the summer, so I would never downplay a labourers challenges.

Tboy, I believe you're not far from the City of Barrie or Orillia, why don't you try applying for one of the city cushy over-paid union jobs?:great: I'm assuming they are also unionised up north too.

Yeah, any added dollars would be spent on transportation costs...good idea though! (thought of applying to work for the town I currently reside in which shall remain nameless even though Bliss thinks it's Parry Sound)

Speaking of weather....the boss called it today at 11....didn't want us all to get sick....-1 and pissing down rain/freezing rain. I didn't find it all that bad......certainly not any worse than when we were putting down the forms for the footings......*shrugs*

Sorry about that Dan but nice to know someone is thinking of me!!!

Funny though how quickly you become climatized....-32 w/o the windchill friday.....today -1 and I was out in jeans and a fleece sweater...and COMFORTABLE......still had my wool hat on though but had to take off my insulated overalls because I was too warm.....
