You are 5'5' but put 5'7 in your driver's licence. When online dating you put 5'9.5?

LOL a friend of mine got caught when he met a woman he was interacting on a dating site. She walked out on him.

Too funny.

This week we will confront an unfortunate truth of online dating: no matter how much time you spend polishing your profile, honing your IM banter, and perfecting your message introductions, it’s your picture that matters most. We’re going to look at how your photos affect both the messages you get and how successful your own outgoing messages are. We all know that beautiful people are more successful daters, but let’s quantify by exactly how much.To illustrate the exact spectrum of looks we’re talking about here, and to put some human faces on our discussion, I want to introduce a few photos of real OkCupid users. Here are two women near the top of our range.

As for photos at the bottom of the curve, it didn’t feel right to write someone and say “can I use you to illustrate the concept of ugliness on my blog?” so you’ll just have to extrapolate. The above featured users have graciously agreed to let me post their pictures, so please don’t make them regret it. Funnily enough, I had to write about a dozen beautiful female users before anyone would even get back to me. Life imitates blog!Anyhow, I know attractiveness is far from a universal concept, but maybe keep these folks in mind as we go through the data.
. . .

We’ll start with a simple line chart. The information I’ll present in this post isnot normalized because, as we’ll see, it’s interesting how men and women evaluate looks differently.

When I was five foot two-and-three-quarter inches, I used to round up to 5'3", but I grew 1/4" since starting yoga 10 years ago, so now it's the truth.

:biggrin2:

I don't have height issues, Batman use to wear lifts in his heels it wasn't because I was short!

I'm 5'3 never lie about my height because it is what it is and the ladies do like the following:
I'm a great slow dancer for tall chicks.
When I can't look them in the eyes, I'm not lying about it.
I'm built like a tripod.:wink2:

Ha ha I'm taller than you! I think this settles it, I should make you my sidekick. It's only proper a sidekick is shorter.

I'd be happy to kick you in the side which one first!:aggressive2:

Hey hey hey now....a good sidekick doesn't assault his leader. Look at these dynamic duos and try to think what you can do to contribute and send me a head measurement so I can place an order for your mask.

I am either 5'10.5" or 5'10.75", depending on which dr's office measured right. I usually just say I'm 5'10.

Online dating sites, if a guy says he's under 5'11" I assume he's adding two inches to his real height.

Wait a minute that would make me 5'1 and I'm taller than that.
