Governments need to pretend they care and will act when they see a wrong.

Fact is when it comes to most items we eat prices are fixed by suppliers not the market. That is if there is a demand.

The only random part of the equation is transportation.
Transport is driven by TAXES, Fuel Costs, Labor Costs, Equipment Costs and Maintenance.
