The saying "money talks, bullshit walks" comes to mind.
No doubt the owner said the he/she supports their employees and would go to court for them. The reality is when push comes to shove, everyone protects their own asses, of course MP owners are expected to be held to a higher standard, they are after all running brothels.

Update:
The trial date has been set and it seems that there has been no response from any of the escort's representatives, I believe she has 5 representatives. In all likelyhood the escort will not show for the trial and will incure costs or possibly will have judgement entered against her.
One would assume that she has been told that she has no chance of success, which she should have been advised at the outset. Poor legal representation.
