It is interesting that no one mentioned about boycotting the games due to the recent strike.

A strike is when the players refuse to play because they are not happy with the CBA. This was not the case as the players liked the CBA. The owners did not like the CBA and wanted more concessions from the players and told them to go home. So it was a lockout.

The Leafs will be increasing cost of tickets by 75% for the playoffs! :shock:

Some platinum season seats will cost over $700, I'd rather spend that kind of money on a 3 hour session with an SP with the game on the tv!!!!

$700 that is a lot of coin. There are a lot of wealthy people in this city. The last time the Leafs made it to the playoffs, someone gave me 3rd row tickets to the game (lucky me). HOpefullly I will get the opportunity again. This time, if I get the offer, I may scalp the tickets and enjoy some SPs and MPAs.

I went to a Leafs playoff game in 1994, had green seats, forth row, near center ice at the old MLG and there were $250 a pair from a scalper.

and that's the cost price from MLSE, wait and see what the scalpers charge. My guess anywhere between $1000-$1200 for platinum seats.

Did you hear about the scam and fiasco with the way they handled palyoffs tickets. They said site was down for technical issues and when it came back on all tickets were sold out. Scalpers rule here. What a shame.
