Ok....so I think my wife might be trying to get rid of me. No sex in a long time with no hint of any action coming down the pike. Recent mentions of us separated (she thinks my mother wants to see us divorced, what would happen if one of us left or died...). Complaints about everything I do or don't do...I just can't win. She can spend hours on the phone with her mother, co-workers or acquaintances but barely spares me the time to say hello when I come home from work. She pays attention to about 1% of what I tell her about my day while expecting me to hang on every word about her day.

Is this just marriage or is something else going on. I don't think she's cheating on me as she doesn't really have the opportunity to get out long enough to do anything behind my back. There has been illness in our family to which could be attributed some of the distance between us but lately, everything just seems wrong.

I'm going to go bang my head on the wall and see if I come up with a solution (Talking it out is the obvious answer).

Marriage is a partner ship.

Primo, I've been married over 25 years and what you've described is pretty much what happens at my home except she has no intention of leaving me because she enjoys the money. If you want to really dazzle her try taking her out to a nice evening out, with flowers and dancing. Women are suckers for attention, especially after so many years.
