Major tsunami damage reported in northern Japan after 8.9 quake

Don't need the pressure to donate, and yes there is bragging about the amount - doesn't make a difference if it's clothing, food, furniture, money or time.

A/B, you're welcome to your interpretation and opinion. Agree to disagree is fine with me.

Post 22.
I agree, mass sterilization is a big leap but it's a big problem that has been going on for decades. The thing is, not to sound condescending, is that it is tough to get the uneducated/illiterate to do the right thing on their own accord. Volunatarily? I can guarantee you the automatic response would be "no thanks".

Kudos to you for helping locally. I used to give monthly to sick kids hospital in toronto, even when I was unemployed and broke I still made my monthly payment...that is until they called me up asking for MORE money and then when I told them I was unemployed and broke and not to call me again, they did (call and ask for more money again).

WHich is also why I don't give money to things like "run for the cure" and "ride for the cure" etc. I think it is 80% of the funds raised go towards paying for the event, not research into the cure.

The high-lighted area would indicate that you do not comprehend your own statements. From your own comment, "I told them I was unemployed and broke and not to call me again!"

Would you sterilize or better yet obliterate the deformed, disabled, elderly, illiterate, mentally ill, palliative, physically ill and poor Canadians? You know the vulnerable? or do you refer to them as society's weakest links. Then, when survivial of the fittest comes into play would you do the same by colour, religion, height, weight or physical appearance? Would this ensure that you and yours have significant amount of sustainability? Would you turn on yours or would they turn on you?

Do you resort to the repilian brain often and the fight or flight response? Teaching a man how to fish does not work when there are no fish to catch.

Remember there is a difference between "if they" and "when they" as you so eloquently wrote.

One point that I strongly believe you could/would be an asset for is restoration. I think that you're the type that would help build a home or restore a life (fire damage) in your community. I believe you would give a shelter or someone in need the last 5.00 you had.

Maybe, you could stop listening to your own rhetoric, no more debate/discussion as it's not worth the time.

Enjoy your evening.

and yet you repost and STILL twist things around. At no time did I say I stopped donating now did I???

You know what happens when you assume? You make an ass out of YOU.....

You should focus on your posts 22 and 72, you contradict yourself. Possibly, you're just twisted.

Enjoy the long weekend.

Ok, I can see how you'd be confused. I didn't stop giving because they called and asked for more again, I stopped when the subscription ran out and just didn't renew it......my apologies for not making that clear......but still, I never once said that I stopped when they called and asked for more.....

The Nuclear Plant has been leaking into the Ocean...since the quake..
This is important ...they should not be playing this fact down...
There is no way that Site can hold up to another Earth Quake...

Tboy would say they deserve it :slap:

Remember that thread ;/Waving://

I still prefer the explanation of tectonic plates in motion over Karma as the cause.

Our thoughts are with you Japan.

Fukushima World Warning!Spent Fuel Melt Down. NEWS FLASH - URGENT

** NEWS FLASH -- URGENT ** STEAM SUDDENLY EMANATING FROM FUKUSHIMA REACTOR # 3 - WEST COAST OF NORTH AMERICA SHOULD BEGIN PREPARATIONS FOR POSSIBLE RADIATION CLOUD WITHIN 3 TO 5 DAYS.

December 28, 2013 11:00 PM EST -- (TRN ) -- Persons residing on the west coast of North America should IMMEDIATELY begin preparing for another possible onslaught of dangerous atmospheric radiation from the Fukushima nuclear disaster site in Japan. The Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) says radioactive steam has suddenly begun emanating from previously exploded nuclear reactor building #3 at the Fukuishima disaster site in Japan.

TEPCO says they do
not know why this is happening and cannot go into the building to see what's happening due to damage and lethal radiation levels in that building. Experts say this could be the beginning of a "spent fuel pool criticality (meltdown)" involving up to 89 TONS of nuclear fuel burning up into the atmosphere and heading to North America. Steam photo, full details and suggested methods to protect yourself appear below.

Full read:

The area around #3 is so 'hot' and dangerous that people cannot even go there. Instead, robot cranes operated by remote control are picking up the debris around the spent fuel pool in preparation for removing whatever fuel rods are left; after a fire and meltdown event a few days after 3/11. TEPCO is not even planning on approaching this spent fuel pool to do any removal of anything in the near future, other than the debris.

Nothing like this has ever happened in the history of the human race. Plutonium was released from this spent fuel pool in the fire and the explosion at reactor #3, and the only question left is how much, where it went, and what effects it will have globally on all life.
